RideOnTrack Newsroom RideOnTrack’s Mission to Greece

RideOnTrack’s Mission to Greece

This week, RideOnTrack had the privilege of attending Posidonia, one of the world’s largest maritime trade fairs, welcoming over 40.000 professionals at Metropolitan Expo in Athens, Greece.

As part of this mission organised by FIT – Flanders Investment & Trade, which marks the first time FIT led a delegation to Posidonia, RideOnTrack joined a group of 5 other Flemish companies to explore new opportunities in the maritime sector and the Greek market.

So far, this week proved to be a great success: we had the opportunity to present ourselves to a range of international ports, such as the Port of Thessaloniki and the Port of Ceuta, and shipyards, leading up to many valuable conversations around mission-critical communication in this sector.

Although our hands were mostly full with Posidonia, we also had the chance to explore potential collaborations in the Greek rail market, which we are eager to further develop.

We would like to thank Freya Gikas and Sven Verstrepen from FIT – Flanders Investment & Trade for organising the mission and our participation, as well as facilitating valuable business meetings throughout this week.

We already look forward to our next visit and are excited about what lies ahead!
